The functions of the edge banding machine include: pre milling, gluing, alignment, rough trimming, fine trimming, edge scraping, contour tracking, polishing, and slotting. Mainly used for the production of panel furniture and wooden doors.

Introduction to the functions of each department:

1. Pre milling: Double milling cutters are used to modify the ripple marks, burrs, or non perpendicular phenomena caused by the cutting saw/cutting saw after processing, in order to achieve better edge sealing effect. Make the bonding between the edge banding and the board tighter, with better overall integrity and aesthetics.

2. Glue edge sealing: Through a special structure, the edge sealing board and material are evenly coated on both sides to ensure a stronger adhesive force.

3. Head alignment: Through precise linear guide motion, using automatic tracking of the model and high-frequency high-speed motor for fast cutting structure, the cutting surface is ensured to be flat and smooth.

4. Rough/Fine Repair: Both use automatic tracking of the template and high-frequency high-speed motor structure to ensure the flatness and smoothness of the upper and lower parts of the trimmed board. Used for repairing excess edge sealing material on the upper and lower edges of processed sheet metal.

1) Rough trimming function: The rough trimming blade is a flat blade. To deal with the excess trimming during the sealing of the wooden veneer. Because when sealing the veneer, it is not advisable to use a precision knife R-shaped knife directly. The veneer is generally 0.4mm thick, and using a precision knife directly can easily cause breakage. In addition, rough finishing can also be used as the first leveling process when sealing PVC and acrylic.

2) Refinement function: The refinement knife is an R-shaped knife. Mainly used for PVC and acrylic edge banding of panel furniture, edge banding with a thickness of 0.8mm or more is preferred..

5. Imitation tracking: The upper and lower rounding device can make the end face of the board smoother and more beautiful

6. Edge scraping: Used to eliminate the ripple marks caused by the cutting process of non-linear edge trimming, making the upper and lower parts of the board smoother and neater.

7. Polishing: Clean the processed board with a cotton polishing wheel to make the edge sealing surface smoother through polishing.

8. Slotting: Used for directly slotting wardrobe side panels, bottom panels, etc., reducing the process of sawing and making it more convenient and efficient; It can also be used for slotting aluminum edges on door panels.
