Operation mechanism of water-cooled electric spindle for CNC engraving machine
Unlike air-cooled electric spindles, this type of spindle uses water to reduce the heat generated during the production process. Basically, water-cooled electric spindles use a form of thermal conductivity to absorb heat from the parts into circulating water.
The hot water is then transferred to the receiving room, where it replaces cold water. Through this heat transfer method, manufacturers can work for longer periods of time without worrying about overheating of the spindle. In addition, unlike air-cooled electric spindles, water-cooled spindles do not stir or transfer dust or debris to other parts of the machine.
The water inlet of the cooling pipe is usually located at the rear of the spindle for two main reasons: 1. It is easy to move and aesthetically pleasing.
2. The running noise of the water-cooled spindle is low

Operating mechanism of air-cooled electric spindle for CNC engraving machine
The air-cooled electric spindle is mainly equipped with a fan, which helps guide the high rotation of the spindle to generate heat. It circulates air through various parts of the spindle to effectively reduce temperature.
These fans rotate at the same speed as the spindle and are usually programmed to start running at selected intervals. Not surprisingly, air-cooled electric spindles generate a lot of noise during operation. Therefore, manufacturers usually have to use headphones to reduce the noise impact to a greater extent when working.
Alternatively, there is a compressed air cooled spindle with a sturdy aluminum structure to accommodate compressed air. Unlike fan cooled spindles, they are heavier and vibrate less. However, the operating noise of the compressed air spindle is less
